A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING EAGLE SCOUT KENNY RALPH FERNANDO FOR WINNING 2007 TEN OUTSTANDING BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES (TOBS) AWARDS

WHEREAS, Boy Scouts of the Philippines have been conducting the search for Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts since 1989;

WHEREAS, the search which starts from Local Council Level goes to Regional Elimination and finally to National Selection, aims to recognize Boy Scouts with sterling quality in the fields of Academics, Community Service and Leadership;

WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Kenny Ralph Fernando, a 3rd year high School Student from Columban College was chosen to represent James L. Gordon Council – Olongapo City in the search for Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts of the Philippines (TOBS);

WHEREAS, out of 2.6 Million scouts in the , Eagle Scout Kenny Ralf Fernando won this year’s prestigious scouting event;

NOW, THEREFORE, on the motion of Councilor Edwin J. Piano, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;


RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to congratulate as it hereby congratulates, Eagle Scout Kenny Ralph Fernando for winning the 2007 Ten Outstanding Boy Scout of the Philippines.
