Space Station Contact
Dear Boy Scouts of the Phillipines radio stations,
Astronaut Bill McArthur (NA1SS) is very active with hamradio in the Space Station ISS.
We have a DXCC campaign group for NA1SS.
http://www.issfanclub.com/dxcc
For so far we know NA1SS did not have made a voice QSO with Phillipines yet.
McArthur is very active so a good chance that you can work NA1SS in voice!
The Space Station can also operate on 145Mhz (VHF).
If you have no VHF transceiver maybe you know some friends who have (pse let us know!).
With a very simple vertical antenna you can make contact with NA1SS, better
is to use a yagi.
Let me know if you (or your hamradio friends) are intrested to sign in for
the NA1SS DXCC caimpaign.
What station do you have?
My contact adres: isszarya@hotmail.com
